Detection and Treatment
Finding a Doctor that could and would help Trevor and Lynette Croll with their chronic health problems was difficult. Good doctors were few and far between. The local GPs were almost useless and did not know what to do or where to start. If the mercury had been detected Lynette and Trevor would have looked for the source and would have been able to save themselves much grief and they would have realised they had an evil enemy much earlier.
The first Doctor they found that would do anything was Dr Hanner at Your health Camberwell in Victoria. Both Lynette and Trevor had 18 IV EDTA Chelation therapies which made a significant difference. If only Dr Hanner had conducted a heavy metal test they would have been alerted to the fact that they were being poisoned at that time. At the time Lynette had been diagnosed with arteriosclerosis which is clogged arteries and this condition is known to be relieved with EDTA Chelation. Trevor and Lynette (Lynette worse than Trevor) were suffering from numbness and tingling sensations in the hands and feet. They were both very sensitive to the cold and were having difficulty with the cold. It seemed that there was a problem with circulation and that EDTA could remedy this.
Dr Jaa at Robina on the Gold Coast was the exception to the rule. He performed, what he called the Queen's Profile from ARL Pathology in Victoria and that test showed that Lynette's porphyrins were 9 times higher than normal. porphyrins are chemicals the body makes for dealing with mercury. He supplied a drug called DMG and told us it takes about a year to clear embedded mercury from the body.
Dr Pat Bradey, Your Health Carina in Brisbane performed a DMPS Challenge test that revealed mercury and prescribed DMSA chelation for its removal. DMPS (sodium salt of 2,3-dimercapto-1-propane sulfonic acid) DMSA (meso 2,3 dimercaptosuccinic acid)
Our bodies have mechanisms for removing heavy metals- porphyrins. The half life of mercury in the body is 45-90 days with some mercury becoming embedded. It took over a year for Trevor's chronic ill health problems to ease on the treatment. Trevor purchased his DMSA from an online pharmacy and the cost was one quarter the price of the local DMSA. http://www.cpmedical.net/ Also look at http://www.1to1vitamins.com/products/10941.html and look at http://www.1to1vitamins.com/scripts/vit/vit_client. I would suggest ordering the DMSA and the organic mineral on this page. It is important to replace the minerals that mercury causes us to lose and that DMSA also takes out of our system. Trevor found that he could not take DMSA every day and continuously. He had to take a magnesium, an organic mineral and a tea spoon of Carb soda in fruit juice every other day and extra magnesium when he felt he needed it. His heart arrhythmia would ease and disappear after taking the DMSA and would come back several days later. For a while he used his heart arrhythmia as a guide to his DMSA needs.
Mercury removal protocol
The treatment (DMSA) has the side effect of also removing other minerals as well as the mercury. It is important to replenish those other minerals while taking DMSA. Colourful vegetables like silverbeet, spinach, Broccoli, capsicum, tomatoes are high in minerals. Avoid the hi carb low mineral vegetables such as potatoes and bread while taking the low carb high mineral vegetables. Also seek out and take a good mineral supplement as well as extra magnesium and zinc. Mercury passing through the system and the kidneys can cause kidney problems revealed by blood in the urine. High doses of mercury can cause permanent kidney damage. To help the body heal take some Vitamin C and Megafol folic acid supplements. I would suggest a rest of two to three days per week from the DMSA to let the minerals build in your system. Trevor Croll became copper deficient because he took to much DMSA too quickly. A hair analysis test from Safe Analytical Laboratories and DMPS Challenge tests are a good way to keep a check on progress.
